W 1942 roku, w obliczu dramatycznych losów polskich dzieci wywiezionych do sowieckich łagrów, indyjski maharadża Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji z Nawanagar podjął heroiczną decyzję o ich przyjęciu.
